Medieval Pits Launch

To make this game, I relied on the help of playtesters who helped me improve various aspects of the game. Their names are listed in the credits. I started this game as a TTRPG created from a random name generator for games. I decided to make it a browser game using Twine. Development started in 2024 and stalled for a while until I got excited about programming again. I thought about giving up because it was too complex and I was dealing with a lot of new elements, especially in terms of saving characters and combat rules.
I liked the result. The idea of linking the games was original, and ended up being a kind of critique: you start out as a fighter trying to survive, are traded as a commodity in the second game, and rebel against your master in the third, closing the cycle by becoming an oppressor or freeing yourself.
